With less than 24 hours to go until the official opening of the 2009 snow season Hotham’s snowmaking team fired up the snow guns for another great run of snowmaking last night with 114 truckloads made on the Heavenly Valley area and 48 truckloads at the Big D.
The forecast for opening weekend is looking promising with snow possibly falling today above 1700m which includes Hotham Village.
Snow is then predicted to continue to fall throughout the weekend and next week.
June is a great time to ski and save. Get value season prices on lift passes: $76 for adults, youths $65, children $38.
Prices won’t change in this value period even if it dumps snow and all lifts are open.
Snow making has set the scene for opening weekend at Mt Hotham.
